Hello Tourist,
Thank you for coming to my city. Isn’t it awesome? I love it so much, and I want you to love it too. So here’s a little advice: if you’re walking in the city, pretend the rules are the same as when you drive at home.
- Keep to the right. The slower you’re walking, the further right you should be.
- If you want to stop and look at something, pull over. This means go stand near a trashcan, in a doorway, on the curb. Get out of the flow of traffic.
- People will hit you. If you don’t follow the above, people who are walking fast (we work people, this ain’t Disney!) will run into you. It’s not as bad as getting hit with a car, but a big backpack or LV bag (nabe dependent) can knock the stuffing out of you.
